i weigh bout 143 and ive been gettin about 145-150 grams of protein a day i would get a rotisserie chicken from walmart and wrap it in a wheat wrap and itll add up to about 40g of protein i make 2 and eat one bout 1 another bout 4 i take on whey protein gold standard before and after workout i eat three boiled egg whites 24 g and glass of milk before bed , but on our rest day we had to go to a football camp and ran pushups all this while still sore i countined my proetin intake of 150 g but im still very sore what am i doing wrong
A common misconception is that eating protein will help you avoid soreness from working out. You need time to heal, the soreness won't go away just by eating. Keep at it and give it time. When your muscles get more conditioned (after keeping up your routine for a while) you'll be less sore for shorter lengths of time. Being sore doesn't mean you're doing something wrong, it means you accomplished your goal of tearing muscle fibers so that you can heal stronger.
