Camping Sleeping Pad

Help? Sleeping with period...?
When I have my period and sleep, I have to lay on my stomach because if I lay on my back the blood always misses my pad and goes through my underwear. I don't ever have really heavy periods so my pad leaking isn't a problem. It is just the blood missing my pad. Any suggestions or help? And I am also going camping with my period and I don't know what to do when sleeping, and swimming. Tampons is not an option. Thank you very much!
what about going hiking for the WHOLE DAY! and there is no washrooms ? Thanks for the help. Much appreciated!
This is what I do to make sleeping more comfortable-
I put a dark colored towel over my sheets and I sleep on that.
That way in case anything soaks through it gets on the towel and doesn't stain my sheets.
If your camping and you'll have a sleeping bag or something, you can put a towel in that. I also wear two pads. Yep, two. I put on one normally, then I put one on across the butt part in my underwear. lol. It's definitely helps! And always wear night pads at night! They're longer and more absorbant and most importantly, specifically made for that. Sometimes I even wear them during the day or at school and I don't have to worry about leaking through.
Swimming-
since tampons are not an option, there's not really anything you can do. Usually I just come up with an excuse if someone wants me to go swimming with them and I'm on my period. Or, purposely forget your bathing suit.
Works every time. That way when asked, just say, 'oh! I forgot it! ugh, it's fine I'll just watch.'
Hiking-
Um, well I guess I would wear an overnight pad. And also put another across the back part of the underwear like you would when sleeping. I would also bring pads with you when hiking. Because you never know if you'll really need them. :/ Even if there are no washrooms, if you know what I'm saying. I would also bring a jacket to tie around your waist if it leaks through.
Good luck! have fun.
